CZECH stability AWARD 2014: AAA -Excellent
within the 20th year of the competition CZECH TOP 100, KOVAR a.s. won a prestigious rating award granted by BISNODE and has hereby ranked itself among the 2 % of the stablest companies in the Czech Republic.
The mark „AAA“, the highest possible on the one-to-ten scale, ranks the firm among the stablest companies in the Czech market. Considering the fact that this award is internationally recognized, it also expresses stability in comparison with foreign companies.
Vodafone Company of the Year 2012 in Zlin region
On 11th October 2012, Kovar s.r.o. was awarded the 3rd place in contest Company of the Year in Zlin region. Moreover, Kovar has won in the category named “Responsible Company of the Year 2012 in Zlin region”. Kovar takes staff care very seriously and is also an active member of Subject Association in Hornolidečsko Region. The main aim of this Association is to improve life quality through facilitation of innovations and development in the country. The company owners have not only decided to use ecological production technologies, they also keep a herd of cattle which tend local landscape by grazing. At present, a certification of ecological agriculture is expected, although this activity represents only 1% of the annual turnover.
Czech Business Pike 2012
In the prestigious competition “Czech Business Pikes 2012”, Kovar s.r.o. was awarded 3rd place in Zlín region, among 2500 companies.
Companies which have their registered offices in the Czech Republic, have a turnover of more than 10 million EUR in the last year and over the assessed three year period have complied with the qualifying criteria concerning at least one positive trading income during the period of assessment and have the ability to meet liabilities are being included in the Pikes of Czech Business list. Besides indicators which other existing lists are based on, i.e. turnover and profit, the Pikes of Czech Business list assesses companies over a period of 3 years and brings comparisons based on the solvency and payment morale of companies, and includes a regional perspective. This has resulted in the most comprehensive list of economic performance, ability to pay, and dynamics of Czech companies to date.
3rd place in COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2009

Kovar s.r.o. has been awarded the 3rd place in prestigious nationwide contest of small and medium enterprises “Vodafone Company of the Year 2009”, announced by Hospodářské noviny (an economic daily). In live broadcast on ČT24 (news channel), the award was given to Petr Bambuch, CEO.
In this fourth year of the biggest business contest Vodafone Company of the Year 2009 and Zlaté stránky Entrepreneur of the Year 2009, a record 3636 business-people applied. Only companies whose turnover does not exceed the threshold of 1,4 billion CZK could register in the contest. Kovar s.r.o. has won the regional round, where decisive score is made up from the key indicators of profitability, liquidity, indebtedness and productivity of work as well as rating by Hospodářské noviny and juror´s evaluation. The jury in the nationwide final then chose from the regional winners on the basis of their presentation, originality and functionality.
